Nick Khan On Running WrestleMania In The Same City Back-To-Back: Maybe We Don’t Do That Again

Nick Khan seemingly takes blame for WrestleMania 42 being down.

WrestleMania 41 and WrestleMania 42 were both held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. It was the first time since WrestleMania IV and WrestleMania V that the event was held in the same place in back-to-back years.

Attendance was down in 2026, and the lack of tickets sales became a talking point on WWE television.

Speaking at a TKO Town Hall (via POST Wrestling), WWE President Nick Khan commented on WrestleMania running Vegas two years in a row.

“That was ultimately my decision,” Khan said. “Maybe we don’t do that one again in terms of back-to-back, but ultimately it ended up being a successful event.”

Khan also teased the location for WrestleMania 44 in 2028, saying, “Wait until you hear the announcement on where we’re going to be for WrestleMania in 2028.”

WrestleMania 43 will be held in Saudi Arabia.

Elsewhere during the Town Hall, Khan commented on WWE’s status in Saudi. You can find his full comments here.
