Count Nikki Bella among the legion of fans of Ronda Rousey.
During a recent interview with Sky Sports with both Bella twins to promote WWE's current tour of the United Kingdom, they were asked what other female figures in sports inspired them.
For Nikki Bella, the former UFC bantamweight female champion topped the list.
"I find everything she has done in UFC so inspirational," Nikki said. "Serena Williams is another - she reminds me of John Cena in a way, in that they have stayed on top of their game for so long and so many people still connect with them. She still blows my mind."
Nikki Bella and John Cena have been in a relationship for several years.
Returning at Summerslam following a hiatus of nearly a year due to a neck injury, Nikki currently is preparing to serve as the team captain for Smackdown's women's team in a five-on-five elimination match at Survivor Series, taking place next Sunday, Nov. 20, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Nikki is one of the most experienced female wrestlers on the roster and discussed her longevity during the interview.
"Everyone used to tell me: 'Just so you know, Divas only last five years around here'. I said: 'What, I want to be here forever!' I have now been here for 10 years and been on an incredible journey - I've seen women's wrestling and the WWE change dramatically," she said. "The place has become my home and I'm looking forward to 10 more years."
As for Rousey, she makes her return to the UFC Dec. 30 to challenge current bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes in the main event of UFC 207. It marks her first fight in more than a calendar year, since she was dethroned as champion by Holly Holm in November of 2015.
