Nikki Cross Talks How Wrestling Has Helped Her Relationship With Killian Dain

Nikki Cross talks about her relationship with her husband Killian Dain.

The two wrestlers married in 2019 and despite Cross constantly traveling with the SmackDown roster and Dain being a part of NXT in Florida, the two have been to make things work. Cross said wrestling has been to solidify their relationship as a married couple and knows that there will come a time both Cross and Dain will not be required to be apart for several days at a time.

"The good thing is we’re both in the industry and understand the sacrifices that are necessary. The way we look at it, one day we will be 60 years old and be together every night. But we met through wrestling, love wrestling and understand that we’re both on the most amazing journey right now," Cross told the Scottish Sun.

With both Cross and Dain being apart at times, the small amount of time they do spend together are enjoyed even more. Cross said she turns to Dain for advice and as someone to give feedback when it comes to wrestling. The married couple were part of the Sanity faction that was in NXT.

"It helps a lot because there are times where one of us will leave for 10 days and we don’t see each other. He is in Florida and I’m on the road with SmackDown so it’s important when we do have time together we make sure it is quality time connecting and talking. I always have loads to catch him up on. Wrestling is our passion so we are going to discuss that and talk about our dreams. But we also know it’s important to watch TV together and go to the movies," Cross said.

Cross will be competing in the women's Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view taking place on January 26. Fightful will have live coverage of the show, taking place at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.
