Nikkita Lyons Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

Nikkita Lyons says her knee surgery was a success.

Nikkita Lyons took to social media on January 25 to reveal that she suffered a torn ACL and meniscus injury.

Nikikta would again take to social media six days later, on January 31, to announce that she's undergone successful surgery and thank not only the doctors and nurses but also the fans supporting her.

Lyons most recently wrestled on the January 20 episode of NXT Level Up, which was taped on January 17. Lyons last defeated Jakara Jackson. It is unknown how long she will be sidelined from active competition.

WWE NXT ran an injury angle on Tuesday, January 24, where Nikkita Lyons would be attacked in the parking lot, giving a storyline reason for her injury.

On the most recent episode of WWE NXT, McKenzie Mitchell provided an update in which she stated that no member of the NXT locker room had taken credit for the attack yet. Still, many of the stars of the women's division were on the scene of the attack.
