- Hear from Hiroshi Tanahashi following his IWGP Heavyweight Title victory over Kenny Omega.
- It was a big night for Los Ingobernables de Japon at Wrestle Kingdom 13. Tetsuya Naito won the IWGP IC Title, EVIL and SANADA won the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles and BUSHI and Shingo won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.
- Jay White scored arguably the biggest victory of his career at Wrestle Kingdom by defeating Kazuchika Okada.
- White followed up his big win at the Tokyo Dome by laying out Hiroshi Tanahashi at New Year Dash!! and declaring this to be the Switchblade Era.
- Notably absent from New Year Dash!! were members of The Elite. Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, Hangman Page and Marty Scurll had no presence on the show. Cody, the Bucks and Page are heading to All Elite Wrestling while Scurll will continue with ROH. The future of Omega is unclear.
