NJPW G1 Climax 36 Results (8/16/26): Yuya Uemura vs. Ryohei Oiwa In Tourney Final, Jeff Cobb Returns
The G1 Climax 36 concludes.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling wrapped up the 2026 installment of the G1 Climax tournament. The finals took place at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo.
Ryohei Oiwa and Yuya Uemura battled in the tournament final for a shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
Also on the night, Jeff Cobb made his return to NJPW and Shun Skywalker had his first match since joining the promotion.
