Notable Omissions From WWE Draft Pool

WWE has its newest draft Friday and Monday nights, and have released a list of talent that is set for the draft pool. However, there were some big omissions.

Most of those not listed were due to injury or absence. Naturally, WWE wants to keep their options open accordingly.

WWE SmackDown Preview, Start Time, How To Watch (4/19): Bayley vs. Naomi, AJ Styles vs. LA Knight

Nia Jax- Sidelined with an ACL injury

Ember Moon- Sidelined since late September with a reported Achilles injury.

Jeff Hardy- Injured knee, in addition to a wealth of personal problems.

Matt Hardy- Not injured, and hasn't been used on television. Hardy seems to be one of the prime exceptions to the draft pool. He hasn't competed on WWE live events since late August, but has been at TV several times.

Naomi- Listed as being out with an injury internally by WWE, though it's not specified what the injury was. Sidelined since July.

The Usos- Out of action since July, not listed on WWE's internal injury report.

The Ascension- Haven't appeared on WWE programming or live events since WrestleMania week. No injuries have been reported, and the duo weren't listed on internal injury reports this summer.

Alicia Fox- Hasn't wrestled since April, was listed among "legends" for WWE Raw Reunion.

Mickie James- Underwent knee surgery, and isn't expected to return until 2020.

Lars Sullivan- Has a knee injury that will sideline him well into 2020

Ruby Riott- Double shoulder surgery, which is likely to keep her out until 2020.

Mike Kanellis & Maria Kanellis- He's been featured on Raw and Smackdown fairly often, but was also a product of 205 Live. Doesn't have a reported injury. Maria is pregnant and due early 2020.

Aiden English- Commentator for 205 Live. Hasn't wrestled since April's Worlds Collide, and last wrestled on main roster TV a year ago.

The Colons- Neither have wrestled in WWE since February, and has worked in WWC since. Last wrestled on TV at Survivor Series 2018.

Lana- Recently returned to TV with Bobby Lashley.

Sheamus- Out of action since shortly after WrestleMania.

It should be noted that part timers like Big Show, Kane, John Cena and The Undertaker are also not included, and the same goes for Ronda Rousey.

Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre and Samoa Joe have all been out with injuries and off WWE TV, but are included in the draft pools.
