The NWA World Tag Team Titles were on the line at NWA 73.
Aron Stevens and JR Kratos faced La Rebelión (Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf 450 w/ Konnan) at NWA 73. Throughout the bout, Konnan interfered on numerous occasions, giving Bestia and Mecha Wolf the upper hand. The defending champs had their fair of chances too but were unable to put their opponents away. Eventually, La Rebelión hit the Mark of the Beast on Stevens for the pin and win.
With their victory, La Rebelión becomes the new NWA World Tag Team Champions, ending Stevens and Kratos' reign that began on November 10, 2020, at UWN Primetime Live #9.
After the bout, Konnan spoke about the significance of a Mexican and Puerto Rican holding major titles for the NWA. He also commented on the diversity we are seeing in wrestling and how great it is to see, especially when compared with what the landscape looked like when he was younger.
