NXT Reportedly Moving To Fox Sports 1 For Two-Hour Show, Triple H Comments

Triple H talks NXT potentially moving to FS1.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that NXT is "tentatively set" for 8 - 10 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1. The announcement hasn't been made as WWE is reportedly waiting until All Elite Wrestling announces their timeslot for AEW on TNT. The show will reportedly be live every week though it is unknown if it will be held from Full Sail each week. It is also unknown when the show will move from WWE Network to FS1 or if it will also remain on WWE Network.

Prior to the report, Triple H was on the NXT TakeOver: Toronto media call and asked about the potential move.

"There's always a changing landscape. The internal discussion [in WWE] of where content goes is a constant," said Triple H "We look at this wheel of options of distribution that we have, across all platforms, whether that be television or Facebook or our digital presence or the Network. Where do you put content at all time is up for debate. How much content? What content? We're constantly working on it and evaluating it. When it comes to NXT, there's a lot of exciting thoughts and ideas out there. But we're constantly debating on where things go and land. When it comes to NXT growing as a brand, there's a lot of options on the table."

Triple H continued, "Contrary to what I heard, I've seen the conversations around FS1 and NXT and then immediately people come in with 'counter-programming' talk. People want to bring that up in the conversation. Wednesday has been the home of NXT forever. When people announce what other people announce, you don't hear talk about counter-programming. You just hear the announcement. For us, everything is counter-programming. We plan things long in advance and worrying about doing our business."

WWE has not announced anything official when it comes to NXT moving to FS1.
