One of NXT's top stars could end up sidelined.
Austin Aries was injured during the main event at NXT's Wednesday live event in Fresno, California, after a superkick from NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
As mentioned in the tweet, Aries sustained a deep cut, and a swollen left eye. You can check out a video of the kick itself below.
The match itself, Shinsuke Nakamura & No Way Jose vs. Aries & Joe, was stopped due to the incident. Aries was helped backstage, but still heeled fans on the way.
