A date is now set for Tyler Bate’s shot at the Heritage Cup Championship.
After earning a Heritage Cup Championship match at NXT UK: Prelude, Tyler Bate will now challenge A-Kid for the championship on Thursday, May 20. This will be the second time Bate has challenged for the Heritage Cup Championship. Back in December, A-Kid defeated Bait in the 6th round.
Should Tyler Bate win this match, he will be the first person to hold both the NXT UK Championship and the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship.
Elsewhere on the NXT UK brand, Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams will face off next week with the loser leaving the brand, and sometime in the future, there will be a gauntlet match to determine a new number one contender for the Women's Championship.
