NXT Viewership Dips Once Again On 6/1/21

Viewership dropped once again for NXT.

The Wrestling Observer reports that the June 1 episode of NXT drew 668,000 viewers, which is down from the 698,000 viewers the show drew on May 25. The marks the second straight week viewership has slipped for the gold brand.

While viewership was slightly down, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports the 18 to 49 demographic rating was up. The June 1 episode posted a 0.20 rating in the demo, up from the 0.13 demo rating the show drew on May 25.

The June 1 episode of NXT was headlined by MSK defending the NXT Tag Team Championships against Legado del Fantasma. The show also featured a number one contenders bout for the NXT Championship as Kyle O'Reilly battled Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano. The bout ended in a no contest when Adam Cole intefered.
