NXT Wins WWE Survivor Series; SmackDown Finishes Second

On NXT’s first time at Survivor Series, it proved it was the dominant brand in WWE.

Thanks to a decisive submission win for NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler in the main event, the black and gold brand won the most inter-brand matches with four victories. NXT finished first with four wins, followed by SmackDown with two victories and then Raw in dead last with just one win.

NXT’s wins came from Baszler, Cruiserweight champion Lio Rush, Rhea Ripley as the lone survivor for the women’s Survivor Series match and North American champion Roderick Strong. Also on the show was NXT Champion Adam Cole successfully defending his title against Pete Dunne, who won his shot to wrestle for the title the night before at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.

The biggest loser of the night was Raw, whose only victory came in the tag team triple threat match when The Viking Raiders emerged victorious. It’s been quite the downward spiral for Raw from last year’s Survivor Series to this one as the red brand beat SmackDown.
