Omos States That AAA Run Has Been ‘Nothing Short Of Amazing’

Omos speaks fondly of his time in AAA.

Coming up on night one of Lucha Libre AAA’s Triplemanía 34, the brand’s General Manager Rey Mysterio is set to go one-on-one with Omos. If Mysterio wins, Omos is banned from AAA forever, but if Omos wins, he’ll be fully reinstated and able to accompany Dominik Mysterio to the ring for his Mega Title defense against El Grande Americano on night two of Triplemanía.

Going into the show(s), Omos stopped by Complex Graps, and he spoke highly of his time in AAA.

“The crowd has been nothing but amazing. They’re very into the matches; they’re excited. They’re elated to see us and see us perform so it’s been nothing short of a treat since I’ve been there; had a wonderful time until the little pest Rey (Mysterio) came into the picture but other than that, it’s been nothing short of amazing.”

Omos was suspended from AAA for putting his hands on Rey. At the Ola de Calor show in late August, Omos showed up unannounced, and it ultimately led to Rey taking the fight to Omos and issuing the challenge for a match.
