WWE will tape SmackDown Live from the Manchester Arena in Manchester beginning around 3 p.m. ET. Fightful will provide ongoing spoilers for the event. - Paige and Shane McMahon kick off the show. Said to be "CM Punk" chants during the segment. Daniel Bryan is named captain of Team SmackDown. The Miz comes out, leading Shane to make Miz and Bryan co-captains of the team. Miz and Bryan select Shane to be part of Team SmackDown.
- The Usos def. The New Day
- Daniel Bryan wants to add Rey Mysterio to the team. Miz agrees if Mysterio wins against Andrade Almas later tonight. Also, Bryan and Miz will each pick one competitor for the team. They will meet in a one-on-one bout with the winner being added to the team.
- Becky Lynch cuts an in-ring promo on Ronda Rousey. Nikki Cross, alongside Sanity, come out to interrupt Lynch, leading to a bout between Cross and Lynch.
- Becky Lynch def. Nikki Cross by submission.
- Bryan picks Jeff Hardy and Miz picks Samoa Joe as their respective representatives for Team SmackDown.
- Shinsuke Nakamura cuts an on-screen promo about Seth Rollins.
- Rey Mysterio def. Andrade "Cien" Almas. Mysterio will be added to Team SmackDown. Almas came out without Zelina Vega. After the bout, Orton laid out Mysterio with an RKO.
- AJ Styles cuts an on-screen promo about Brock Lesnar.
- Paige reveals that Carmella, Naomi, Sonya Deville, Asuka and Charlotte Flair will represent Team SmackDown at Survivor Series. Charlotte was announced, but Mandy Rose ended up coming out.
- Samoa Joe def. Jeff Hardy by submission. Joe is the final member of Team SmackDown. Following the bout, Bryan and Joe brawl. Miz and Shane McMahon get involved. Bryan ends up hitting Shane.
