Orange Cassidy Doesn't Know Why He's Here, Jokingly Says There's No Meaning Of Life

Orange Cassidy doesn't know why he's here.

Cassidy has become one of AEW's top stars, as his unique persona stands out from the loaded roster. His character is known for being laid-back, and in the earlier stages of his time with the company, Cassidy was known for not "trying" in his matches, at least up to a certain point.

These days, Cassidy has cemented his status as a fighting champion; he has held the AEW International Championship (originally known as the All-Atlantic Championship) since he dethroned PAC on the October 12 episode of AEW Dynamite. Still, Cassidy is one of a kind, as he had some eye-opening responses during a recent interview.

Speaking with Simon Miller for WhatCulture Wrestling, Cassidy was asked about his hopes and dreams.

Orange Cassidy: "I'm really hoping that I can sleep today at some point because [WrestleCon] is way too early. I still don't know why I'm here.

Simon Miller: "That's a poignant question, though. Do any of us know why we're here?"

OC: "No. We don't. We really don't."

SM: "What's the meaning of life, man?"

OC: "There is none." [He smirked after he said it]

During the interview, Cassidy also highlighted the meaning of his backpack; when Miller noted that the AEW International Championship was heavy, Cassidy responded by stating that he had the bag for that very reason.

Cassidy will defend the AEW International Championship against Bandido on the April 26 episode of AEW Dynamite. Check out the card here.
