The Over Budget Battle Royale is official for AEW Double or Nothing.
Cody Rhodes made the announcement on the latest episode of Road to Double or Nothing. Cody stated that this time, they won't be over budget, but the name will remain the same. Cody also promised that the winner will receive "a great incentive" but did not reveal what the incentive was. The winner of the Over Budget Battle Royale at All In, which was Flip Gordon, received an ROH World Title shot later in the show.
The first names announced for the Over Budget Battle Royale were Sonny Kiss, Brandon Cutler and Kip Sabian.
AEW Double or Nothing is scheduled for May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here is a look at the announced card thus far:
