Pat McAfee Comments On NXT TakeOver: WarGames Bout

Pat McAfee is a little banged up following NXT TakeOver: WarGames.

In just his second professional wrestling match, McAfee stepped inside WarGames on Sunday and left it all in the ring, providing fans with arguably the most memorable moment in the match when he performed a swanton dive off the top of the cage.

Though McAfee was beaten down by Undisputed ERA and his team came out on the wrong side of the decision, like a true professional, McAfee hosted his radio show on Monday, though he was visibly hurting.

Speaking about WarGames, McAfee provided a working update on his condition.

"If you're watching along, you might see me in a neck brace. This is not an overreaction," he claimed. "I'm awaiting results on tests I got earlier today. My whole body, to see what was broken and what's not broken. I couldn't really get out of bed this morning, couldn't move, couldn't walk. I figured it was a potential opportunity for my entire body to be broken after NXT Takeover: WarGames. It was a hell of a match, hell of a show. My guys and I ended up losing to the scumbags that are Undisputed Era. I'm not happy about it. This neck brace is only for precautionary reasons. I'm sitting up a little more in my seat because I should probably be sitting on a donut right now. I believe I'll be standing a lot today, because sitting down I already feel pain in my neck, my back and my hip. I only have sandals on, because I couldn't put shoes on because I believe I broke my big toe. We did not go down without a fight. Next time we get our hands on them, THEY'LL BE THE ONES WEARING THE NECK BRACES! YEAH!"

McAfee wasn't the only member of his team who came out worse of wear as Oney Lorcan had a busted eye that he showed off on social media
