Paul Heyman: Becky Lynch Joining The Vision Came Together Because Roman Reigns Choked My Ass Out

WWE Clash In Paris was an eventful night for The Vision, with Bronson Reed taking on Roman Reigns in singles action to kick off the show. Following Reigns’ defeat of Reed, he would choke Paul Heyman out with a Guillotine before being taken out by Reed and Bron Breakker. During Seth Rollins’ main event title defense, Becky Lynch would assist her husband in retaining his World Title, lowblowing CM Punk.

While speaking on First Take, Seth Rollins was asked by Stephen A Smith how long he and Becky teaming up has been in the works.

“Oh, I mean, look, we are a force behind the scenes at all times, two of the greatest to ever do it in our respective divisions. You know, the time had come. Time had come. It made the most sense. And look, she’s family. She’s got my back I got her back. I don’t know if we’ve been working it up for a long time, but the conversations have been in place for many months leading up to the moment.”

Stephen A would then turn to Paul Heyman, asking him what he had to do with Becky and Rollins becoming a partnership on WWE programming once again.

“All right, everything to do with it. I’ll reveal it to you right now. It came together because of me. Would you like to know why? Because Roman Reigns choked my ass out. That’s why. We had to go to plan B, which was plan Becky. You can’t leave the champ out there all by himself.”

Heyman would later mention that the choke from Reigns burst blood vessels under his eye.
