Paul Heyman Discusses Roman Reigns Betrayal On WWE Raw, Takes Issue With Reigns Not Avenging Him After WrestleMania 40

Paul Heyman has valid reasoning.

Jey Uso kicked off the May 5 edition of Raw, drawing a major reaction from the crowd. Before he could dive deep into his ongoing feud with Logan Paul, Uso was interrupted by Paul Heyman.

Uso quickly questioned Heyman's motives, noting that 'The Wiseman' betrayed his family.

For the first time, Heyman dove into his recent betrayal of Roman Reigns. During this portion of the promo, Heyman said that he took a stray big dog and turned him into the Tribal Chief. Heyman also took issue with Reigns abandoning him after his WrestleMania 40 loss, stating that Solo Sikoa and the Tongans almost ended his career. Heyman also took issue with Reigns returning to the company to get back his Ula Fala, not to avenge him.

After getting everything off his chest, Heyman shifted focus to Uso and his reign as the World Heavyweight Champion. Heyman stated that Uso wants to be champion before noting that Seth Rollins has to be the champion.

Then, Heyman proceeded to issue an official challenge for Uso, proposing that Rollins gets a shot at the title. The caveat here was that Heyman allowed Uso to pick the time and the place for the matchup.

Uso took his chance and backed Heyman into the corner, revealing that he wants the match on tonight's show. The bout was confirmed by Adam Pearce later on.
