Paul Heyman Says He Didn’t Know Brock Lesnar Was Retiring, ‘I Was Crying, I’m Not That Good Of An Actor To Cry On Cue’
Paul Heyman addresses Brock Lesnar’s retirement.
At WrestleMania 42, Brock Lesnar seemingly retired, leaving his gloves and boots in the ring after losing to Oba Femi. Heyman, who was in Lesnar’s corner, was crying as he and his client embraced.
Before WrestleMania 42, Heyman spoke to TMZ and said Lesnar intends on dominating for the next 15 years.
Speaking to TMZ again, Heyman was asked about his previous comments and Lesnar retiring.
“If I knew he was gonna retire, would I have gone on record saying he was gonna dominate for the next 15 years?? I was crying. Am I that good of an actor that I can cry on cue?? Not I,” he said.
WWE has since moved Lesnar to the alumni section on the website.
Heyman is now focused on leading Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory in The Vision.
