Paul Heyman Will Be Inducting Goldberg Into The WWE Hall Of Fame

It looks like Goldberg will have Brock Lesnar's advocate for the night.

In mid-January, it was announced that former WWE Universal Champion Goldberg would be headlining WWE's Hall Of Fame class of 2018. Coming off a six-month run with the WWE, the man who usually alerts people that they're next, was next to be recognized as one of the greats to step through the halls of WWE.

This afternoon, Goldberg's inductor was revealed and he is a man who has had a number of dealings with Goldberg in the past, along with being at ringside for the better half of his 2016/2017 run in the company.

The advocate for the current WWE Universal Champion, Paul Heyman will induct Bill Goldberg into the WWE Hall Of Fame. The sports-entertainment company sent out the following regarding the news:

"Paul Heyman has been at ringside for some of Goldberg’s most intense battles in the squared circle. ... Heyman had a bird’s eye view of the type of carnage Goldberg could create inside the ring when he returned in 2016 to challenge Lesnar to a Mega Match at Survivor Series in Toronto. He was stunned when Goldberg bulldozed through The Beast in under two minutes to win his first match in 12 years. Heyman also witnessed the demolition derby for the Universal Championship between Goldberg and his client on The Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania 33 last year. Though Goldberg was not victorious on that night, he certainly made a major impression on Lesnar and his advocate."

As noted, the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony will commence on April 6th. The names that are to be inducted are: Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Jeff Jarrett, Ivory, 'Warrior Award' recipient Jarrius "JJ" Robertson, Hillbilly Jim, Mark Henry, and Kid Rock.
