Paul Wight Comments On Stretcher Spot At AAA Triplemanía 34: “Imitation Is The Best Form Of Flattery”

Paul Wight comments on the spot.
Closing out night one of Lucha Libre AAA’s Triplemanía 34 in Las Vegas, Nevada, was a singles match between Rey Mysterio and Omos. Omos scored the win, and then post-match, he attacked Mysterio, which led to Mysterio being put on a stretcher.
Omos made his way back down to ringside and lifted Mysterio as he was still strapped to the spine board and slammed him through a table.
The spot was compared to Paul Wight, a.k.a. Big Show, slinging Mysterio into a ring post while he was still strapped to the spine board. As Wight was doing a virtual signing for Signed By Superstars, he commented on the spot with Rey and Omos.
“I already saw it when they tried to copy it. They had somebody else do my (spot)… So I was like, ‘Ehh,’ you know? What is it? Imitation is the best form of flattery or whatever.”
Rey and Omos squared off in tag team action on the 10/3 AAA on FOX. For more on that, click here.
