Persephone Comments On Defeating Mercedes Moné For CMLL Women’s Title: “She Is Already On The Decline… She Is Toast”

Persephone speaks about taking one of Moné’s titles.

At CMLL’s Arena México show on March 6th, the closing match saw Persephone defeat Mercedes Moné for the CMLL Women’s World Championship.

After the bout, Persephone gave her comments to the media about taking one of Moné’s title belts and said the following (translation by Fightful’s Luis Pulido):

“Y’all saw her, right? Even before last night, she had her screws loose; she is a bit crazy. If y’all said I’m crazy, imagine her. I’m done with Mercedes. She is already on the decline, she is old, she is tired, she is toast. Now, Mercedes is now a step closer to the grave, so now Perse is looking for something new. Also, being Mexican, I might become a double champion. I might challenge for a National Title. I can be World Champion and Mexican Champion. Who knows? But Mercedes is now in the rear view.”
