- Following their victory over Black & Ricochet, the War Raiders bowed to their opponents. TakeOver likely marked the final NXT appearance for Black & Ricochet. The duo is set to compete for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles this Sunday at WrestleMania.

- PWInsider reports that Taz was backstage at the event.

- Velveteen Dream dressed as the Statue of Liberty for his TakeOver entrance. Dream would go to on defeat Matt Riddle to retain his NXT North American Title.

- Mauro Ranallo quoted the late Nipsey Hussle in the main event, saying, "Both Cole and Gargano have, in the words of the dearly departed Nipsey Hussle, more game than ESPN"

- Triple H spoke to Cathy Kelley after the event.
