Pro Wrestling Tees Sells Nearly Half A Million Dollars In Merchandise During 'All In' Weekend

Big money.

The Pro Wrestling Tees store based in Chicago, IL has been a staple in the pro wrestling community for some time now. The store is ran by Ryan Barkan who is an avid pro wrestling fan who one day along with his team decided to bring their idea of selling wrestling t-shirts to fruition. The store is famous for spotlighting the gear of Colt Cabana, Kevin Owens, Adam Cole, El Generico, Bryan Danielson and many other names in the professional wrestling industry.

This past weekend, The Young Bucks and Cody's 'All In' show was held at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, IL which is thirty-miles out from the P.W.T. store and fans whom were in Illinois for 'All In' banded together in Bullet Club , L.I.J., Chris Jericho and other various types of merch and flooded the Pro Wrestling Tees store over the weekend. The Friday before 'All In', there was a special signing at the store with former five-time WWE World Champion CM Punk and the line for fans to meet and have their pictures taken with the Chicago-native stretched around the corner.

Ryan Barkan did an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated to wrap up the weekend and stated that they have always wanted Punk to do a signing at the store.

“We’ve always wanted to have Punk at the store, and this was the perfect opportunity,” said the 35-year-old Barkan. “There may not be another WrestleMania in Chicago, so this was the ideal wrestling weekend to have fans meet Punk. There were people in line locally and ones from all over the world.”

It was also an extremely profitable weekend for the Pro Wrestling Tees staff as the popularity and hype surrounding 'All In' on top of the store already being established as the go-to-place for wrestling attire earned them nearly $500,000 this past weekend. P.W.T. sold over 20,000 products ranging from jackets, hats, shirts, pins and other merchandise from Thursday to Sunday.

Pro Wrestling Tees is closed today due to the Labor Day holiday and store owner Ryan Barkan has taken his family on a vacation after a weekend of hard work.
