R-Truth has done many embarrassing things during his time in WWE. From forgetting the names of towns to talking to an invisible friend, Truth hasn't been afraid to "show ass" in segments.
During his 24/7 Title chase and reigns, Truth has been involved in many segments that could come off as embarrassing. He's dressed in various costumes and shown up to ruin a wedding and the consummation of a marriage. But no matter what is thrown at Truth, he doesn't feel like he can be embarrassed.
"My confidence is so boosted, I'm so secure of myself as an individual, as a man, as my character to where I feel like Superman," Truth told Sam Roberts on the Not Sam Wrestling podcast. "I don't know if I can be embarrassed. I can almost pull off anything. I was actually gonna post a video of me pretending to lay an egg, like a chicken. Not lay em, but heat em up. Most guys from the street won't do nothing like that. But it doesn't hurt me or bother me. It's real and people still love to see me, be me. That's the character. I might light a cigarette up and talk to an imaginary guy or take his shirt off in a Wal-Mart, show up to a guys honeymoon in the bedroom. There's no limit to the Truth."
With embarrassment often comes entertainment, even if we're not always laughing with the character. Truth has developed a reputation for being one of the most entertaining characters in wrestling over the past few years. Despite his reputation, Truth doesn't feel pressure to be entertaining when he's on camera.
"No pressure, at all. Appreciation. The last two or three years, I put that suit on and I know who this character is. I can do what I want to do and I know it works. When I'm getting ready to go out, I hear Vince in the back of my head, 'You need to be yourself, you need to be R-Truth.' I know what he expects. When I'm doing something and the guys like, 'We need to shoot it again.' 'No, man. Vince is gonna want this right there.' There's no pressure, I'm appreciative to know what he expects," he said.
