R-Truth: If I Snack, I Snack On Nuts

R-Truth gives his meal plan.

R-Truth spent a year on the sidelines with a knee injury that nearly forced him into retirement. During his time away, Truth remained in top shape by working out and eating right.

Speaking to Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, R-Truth gave his meal plan.

"I don't eat breakfast, a lot of people are shocked at that. I've never eaten breakfast. Here and there, like a pancake or something like that, but wake up early in the morning and fix breakfast with cereal, eggs, grease, I don't eat like that. My first meal would be around two or three PM," he said.

Asked what his meal was, Truth replied, "Either chicken, fish or beef. I try to eat a carb later on. If I eat the bun, that's my carb."

Asked if he snack, Truth said, "If I snack, I'm snacking on nuts. Ay. I don't know if that's PG. PEANUTS! PEANUTS! I love my Japanese food, so a lot of sushi. That's what the doctor told me to eat to heal my wound quicker. Protein helps you heal double time. Salmon or chicken at night time, a lot of it."

Fortunately, Truth was able to return to the ring and continues to live, laugh, and love alongside Judgment Day.

Fightful's interview with R-Truth will premiere on Monday, January 22.
