Overjoyed by his title win, Mahal immediately celebrated but his reign was brief, with Carmella halting his exit and allowing R-Truth to return the favor with a roll-up win of his own. R-Truth is now a 3-time 24/7 champion and has twice regained the title on the same day that he lost it. As a result, he's the only man to hold the belt for longer than a single day. A former WWE Champion, this was Mahal's very first reign as 24/7 Titleholder.
