Randy Orton Reveals That He Did Not Light Alexa Bliss On Fire

Alexa Bliss lives!

After burning The Fiend alive during their Firefly Inferno Match at TLC, Randy Orton was confronted by Alexa Bliss the following night, December 28, on Monday Night RAW. A distraught Bliss soaked herself in gasoline, laid down on the mat, and handed Randy Orton a box of matches. The show, however, went off the air just as Orton looked ready to decide Bliss' fate.

Tonight, Orton revealed that he could not go through with it. He says that when you face The Fiend, something inside of you changes and that despite his wanting to set Little Miss Bliss ablaze, a newfound sense of humanity within stopped him. Randy claims that he hates himself for the kindness he showed last week, but pondered the following: "Can you imagine if I directed that newfound hatred for myself towards someone else...?"

Orton concluded his backstage interview by saying that he was going to pay some of the legends a visit.
