Report: Ace Steel Returns From Furlough, Tino Sabbatelli Back With A New NXT Contract

The WWE Performance Center is back up and running with new and old faces.

According to PWInsider, Ace Steel has returned to the Performance Center as a coach. He was furloughed back in April as part of the company wide cutbacks due to the pandemic.

PWInisder adds that Colby Corino, Anthony Henry, and Blake Christian were at the recent WWE tryouts. Corino is the son of Steve Corino and has appeared on 205 Live in the past. Anthony Henry previously worked for EVOLVE. Christian has been a standout performer at Game Changer Wrestling events.

Finally, the report notes that Tino Sabbatelli has returned with a new NXT deal. He was released in April as part of the cutbacks as well. He appeared on an episode of AEW Dark in July. Chris Jericho said an "NXT reject" was leaking AEW spoilers with Tino being blamed as the leak.

Fightful Select reported Tino was listed interally as being at the Performance Center.
