Report: AEW In "Advanced Talks" With Turner; Deal "Complex" and "Not Imminent"

An update on AEW's television negotiations.

The Wrap is reporting that AEW is in "advanced talks" with Turner for a weekly television series that would "likely" be on TNT. The report goes on to state the deal is “definitely not signed" and that the conversations surrounding the deal are “pretty complex” and “not imminent."

The report says, "While having a pact to announce by Turner’s mid-May upfront — an annual event where TV platforms debut their new programming to potential advertisers — would be ideal, it is not a definite."

There were reports on Wednesday night that Turner would be presenting AEW at their upfront event on May 15. 

As of now, no television deal is official.
