Report: AEW To Move To Miami For Month Of February

Daily's Place in Jacksonville has been the exclusive home of AEW Dynamite since the beginning of May, but they may be set for a brief change of scenery.

According to a report from Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, the company will be recording their shows in Miami during the month of February. This will include all episodes of Dynamite (presumably beginning with the Beach Break special on February 3rd), Dark, and the Saturday, February 27th Revolution PPV.

There is no mention of a location for the tapings, but Haynes does note that "there have been some complaints about wrestling in the sub-freezing weather in an outside venue [Daily’s Place] which likely played into the company’s decision to move production to a warmer location. Plus it was noted that a change of scenery would be good for everyone’s morale."

AEW's New Year's Smash Night 1 is set to take place this Wednesday, January 6, and will feature the return of Jon Moxley, as well as a World Championship match between Kenny Omega and Rey Fenix. New Year's Smash Night 2 will be filmed the following day. AEW will return live on January 20th, but will be taping the final episode of the month on the 21st.
