Report: AEW's Saturday Show Is Planned, Set To Debut By July Or Earlier

A new report suggests that AEW's new show will debut by July, if not earlier.

Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast previously reported that AEW could potentially be adding another hour of television on Saturdays. Fightful Select subsequently reported an update, which included the popular rumor that the show could get a 6 p.m. ET time slot.

In the newest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that AEW's new Saturday show is planned, and barring any changes, it will be debuting "at least by July, if not earlier."

As of this writing, AEW's June schedule has not been announced yet. However, as part of the company's return to Canada, the company is advertising a televised event in Regina, Saskatchewan, on Saturday, July 8. This event does not have any branding attached to it, so it's unclear whether it will be a taping of Dynamite, Rampage, or the potential new show.

Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
