Tony Khan: AEW Has The Capacity To Do More TV If Given The Opportunity

AEW currently has three hours of wrestling with AEW Dynamite on Wednesdays and AEW Rampage on Fridays.

The promotion will add an extra hour on March 29 when AEW All Access, a new reality show, premieres after AEW Dynamite. The AEW roster continues to grow and not every talent is featured weekly with some talent finding a home in ROH, which is also owned by Tony Khan. AEW also brings in outside talent with a recent example being independent standout Komander competing in the Face of the Revolution ladder match.

Speaking at the AEW Revolution post-show media scrum, Tony Khan was asked about the roster expanding and the challenges of featuring everyone.

"I would love to have more hours of wrestling television. It's great that we have AEW All Access, which is huge for the company and a big opportunity to get that real estate following Dynamite, and I think we'll have a good audience flow from Dynamite into All Access, it was a lot of positive feedback about that announcement. I know the network is very excited about how much engagement there was about All Access. From a wrestling standpoint and trying to grow the roster and keep people hot when they get opportunities, it's sometimes can be challenging for a couple of reasons. Three hours of television, injuries and things that have come up and changed circumstances," said Khan. "We absolutely have the capacity to do more and more TV if that opportunity presented itself and I think there is demand for it. I do think we definitely could, if called upon, we could definitely present more quality television with the roster we're building."

In his answer, Khan mentioned talent having opportunities in ROH and NJPW. He also put over the business of AEW Revolution, saying the gate was over $800,000, and ROH, noting HonorClub had 12,000 subscribers with the launch of ROH TV.
