Report: AEW Wrestlers 'Planned' To Be Part Of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom

AEW will reportedly be involved at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, there are "plans for certain AEW guys to be at" NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.

NJPW has yet to officially announced Wrestle Kingdom 17. The show is annually held on January 4, though it's been a two-night affair since 2020 with January 5 hosting the second night. Wrestle Kingdom was three nights in 2022 with the third night taking place on January 8 and showcasing NJPW vs. Pro Wrestling NOAH.

AEW has sent talent over to NJPW for recent tournaments was Wheeler Yuta competed in Best of the Super Juniors and Lance Archer competed in the G1 Climax.

AEW and NJPW combined for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 26. The event took place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
