Report: AOP's Rezar Undergoes Surgery For Bicep

AOP's Rezar is going to be on the shelf again, and it might be a while before we see him on WWE programming again.

The former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion sustained a bicep injury in early March during a Raw tag team main event, which has sidelined him ever since. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that Rezar underwent surgery to repair the injury.

Rezar and his tag team partner Akam had just joined Seth Rollins, and were later accompanied by Buddy Murphy in a new heel stable on the brand. Now, Rezar looks like he's going to be out of action for the majority of 2020.

The 25-year old powerhouse has sat out a giant portion of the last two years since being called up to the WWE Raw roster. His partner Akam sustained a leg injury in 2019 that effectively removed the duo from TV for most of the year, and they had trouble finding their footing creatively well before that.
