Another 205 Live name has been released by WWE.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that August Grey has been released by WWE.
Grey, who was known as Anthony Greene during his time on the Independent scene, was signed by WWE in 2020. He debuted on the October 16, 2020 episode of 205 Live under the Anthony Greene name before officially becoming August Grey one month later.
He had been wrestling regularly on the 205 Live brand while making a handful of appearances on NXT. He last wrestled on the June 8 episode of NXT, teaming with Ikemen Jiro in a loss to Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson).
He is currently scheduled to compete against Grayson Waller on the June 25 episode of 205 Live. The bout was taped on June 23.
