According to Lucha Blog, Adrian Mendoza said CMLL wrestlers had been called to come to Arena Mexico. At this point, the commission hasn’t allowed anyone to run empty arena shows due to how bad things are in Mexico City.

Despite this, there hasn't been any action against CMLL, at least none that have gone public. The promotion is advertising its televised return, set for August 7 with a main event of Caristico, Angel de Oro & Star Jr. vs. Gran Guerrero, El Terrible & Templario six-man tag team match. Also advertised for the show is Guerrero Maya & Stuka Jr. vs. Okumura & Vangellys as well as Sanely & La Jarochita vs. Amapola & Reyna Isis.

Lucha Libre AAA has recently announced Auto Luchas, a drive-in wrestling concept to take place at Six Flags Mexico. Fans will be able to drive up, park in assigned spots, and watch wrestling in a raised ring. Screens will also be set-up around the area for any potentially obstructed views of the ring. Fans will be required to stay in their cars and wear face masks during the show. Sanitary precautions will also be taken.
