Report: Dates Revealed For WWE Money In The Bank And WWE Backlash

The WWE pay-per-view schedule continues to fill out.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, WWE Money in the Bank will take place on Sunday, May 16.

Furthermore, WWE Backlash will take place on Sunday, June 20.

Locations for the events have not been confirmed. Like every WWE pay-per-view moving forward, both shows will air on Peacock.

WWE Money in the Bank has been an annual event since 2010 and is headlined by the men's and women's Money in the Bank matches where the winner climbs a ladder and secures a briefcase. The briefcase can be cashed in at any moment for a shot at the respective World Title.

Asuka won the 2020 Women's Money in the Bank ladder match while Otis won the 2020 Men's Money in the Bank ladder match. The 2020 Money in the Bank ladder matches took place at the same time at WWE Headquarters.

WWE Backlash began in 1999 and ran through 2009 before going on hiatus. The event returned in 2016 and has been an annual event ever since.
