The report stated that Johnson and Blunt are attached to play a bickering couple who receive super powers that only work if they can learn to put aside their differences and work together. Deadline also reported that the script is being written by Emily V. Gordon, and Kevin Misher is producing with Seven Bucks. Several studios are bidding, with Netflix emerging as a potential destination for the project.

Both Johnson and Blunt previously worked together for the upcoming "Jungle Cruise" Disney film. The film was originally set to release this summer, but it has been pushed back as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Johnson has been busy with various film and television projects. The second season of the NBC series Titan Games, which Johnson hosts, is set to air on May 25. Among those that will be participating in the second season is former WWE broadcaster and current AEW broadcaster Dasha Gonzalez.
