Eddie Edwards is on the mend.
On the May 19 episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Eddie Edwards was dealing with "what looks like appendicitis," but didn't have full confirmation on Edwards' status.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider confirmed that Edwards underwent surgery for appendicitis on May 17.
It is unknown how long Edwards will be out of action.
Edwards recently teamed with FinJuice (David Finlay & Juice Robinson) at IMPACT Under Siege against IMPACT World Champion Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows). Edwards scored the victory for his team, pinning Anderson in the six-man tag team contest. The bout was taped in April.
