Tony Khan reportedly announced the injury during Saturday's AEW Dark tapings, saying Kingston could not compete due to injury, but not revealing the specifics.

Kingston last wrestled on the January 11 episode of AEW Dark (taped on January 8) where he defeated Joey Janela. Kingston has remained on television to continue his storyline with Chris Jericho, Santana, Ortiz, Daniel Garcia, and 2point0.

Kingston was scheduled to appear at The WLRD on GCW. He was challenged to a match by AJ Gray, but the bout was never made official.

Fightful will provide more details on Kingston's injury as it is known.

Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
