A couple of independent wrestlers were backstage at AEW Revolution.

According to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, both Mance Warner and Effy were backstage at the show, but obviously did not appear on the show itself.

This isn't the first time that Warner was backstage at an AEW show as he reportedly was backstage at an AEW Dynamite taping in the past.

As for Effy, it should be noted that he had worked earlier in the day for Black Label Pro’s event just outside of Chicago in Indiana. Effy is also set to have his own event, "Effy's Big Gay Brunch" taking place in Tampa on April 4. That show will feature AEW star Sonny Kiss as well as the return match of former WWE star Ariane Andrew.

AEW has been busy signing a number of talent as of late, most notably Lance Archer and Colt Cabana. ROH star Jeff Cobb also appeared on a couple of episodes of Dynamite, but he has not signed a deal with AEW.

It was also reported that Renee Young was spotted backstage as her husband Jon Moxley wrestled in the main event of the show. Moxley defeated Chris Jericho to become the new AEW World Champion. Full results of AEW Revolution can be seen here and the post-show podcast can be viewed here.
