Two luchadores are close to inking their WWE deals.
WWE is reportedly closing out a deal to sign a tandem of Luchadores. According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of his Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former CRASH Lucha Libre Tag Team Champions Garza Jr. & Ultimo Ninja are close to inking their WWE deals. Garza Jr. and Ultimo Ninja are real-life cousins and have won tag team gold together in two promotions in Mexico.
The report notes that the two men are undergoing the final stages of WWE medical testing before signing with the company. Out of the two, Garza Jr. is the more familiar name as he appeared in Impact Wrestling regularly. Garza Jr. has also worked in well-known companies such as Lucha Underground and AAA.
Garza Jr.'s cousin Ultimo Ninja is only 22 years-old as he also appeared in Impact Wrestling when he challenged Trevor Lee for the X Division Championship. As noted, the duo are undergoing the final stages of their WWE medical testing and if all goes well, they will be signing their WWE contracts.
