Report: IMPACT Plans To Move Forward With Rebellion PPV In Some Form

IMPACT Wrestling still has plans to hold its Rebellion pay-per-view, which is scheduled for April 19.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, IMPACT plans to move forward with Rebellion "in some form." Johnson reports that it's possible IMPACT will re-tool the event as a special on AXS. The event was originally scheduled to emanate from New York City's Terminal 5 before the coronavirus pandemic.

IMPACT put out a statement on March 24 that said, "As a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, IMPACT Wrestling will not be hosting ?Against All Odds? on April 17th in Toronto, the April 19th ?Rebellion? pay-per-view event at New York City?s Terminal 5 and the April 24th & 25th TV tapings in Columbus, Ohio. We are monitoring the situation closely and are looking at alternative ways that we can produce the events."

In the statement, IMPACT did not outright cancel or reschedule the event.

As far as the television tapings go, Johnson reports that IMPACT has a "tentative plan to tape new material in an empty arena setting" at Skyline Studios in Nashville, TN.

Fightful will continue to update fans on the situation as more information is known.

Fightful will also have live coverage of IMPACT on Tuesday beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
