John Morrison was revealed to have signed a multi-year deal with WWE in late-2019 on an episode of WWE Backstage. However, we have yet to learn of an official start date for the next chapter of the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion's career.
Now, according to a report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, "The Shaman Of Sexy" is in Memphis, Tennessee, which happens to be the site of tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown on Fox. This does not guarantee that Morrison will be on Friday's SmackDown.
During his time away from WWE, Morrison competed regularly for IMPACT Wrestling, Lucha Underground, 5 Star Wrestling, and many more promotions around the globe.

John Morrison made an appearance on The Bump following the announcement of his new signing. During his appearance, he spoke about wanting to potentially reform his tag team with The Miz but as of now, no official announcement has been made regarding what brand the multi-time Intercontinental Champion will appear on.
