According to Alfonso Lizarraga of The Gladiatores, Konnan underwent heart surgery due to the effects of COVID. All indication is that he's in stable condition.
Konnan was hospitalized in February 2021 after testing positive for COVID 19.
In a video for Lucha Libre Online, Hugo Savinovich stated that Konnan had to get heart surgery after complications with COVID. He also stated that me may be released from the hospital today (as of recording).
He also stated that Konnan gave him permission to provide this update publicly and that Konnan will also speak about this soon.
