One of All Elite Wrestling's key female acquisitions is on the shelf.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW's Kylie Rae has been "dealing with a medical issue." No further details are public at this time, but the Observer did note that she is expected to be back in action soon.
Rae participated in the marquee women's match at AEW Double or Nothing, coming up on the losing end to Britt Baker. However, she's not been seen on All Elite Wrestling programming since then, and has been pulled from several bookings that she'd been planned for.
AEW has kept this situation quiet and hasn't mentioned it as of yet. She was originally slated to take on Leva Bates at AEW Fyter Fest, but hasn't wrestled sinec June 14.
Compounding the issue with AEW's women's division, Britt Baker sustained a concussion at AEW Fight For The Fallen that is said to be serious. The injury happened early in the match, and contributed to her tagging the wrong person in, but finished the match in impressive fashion. Baker seemed in high spirits when Fightful reached out to her this week.
