They reportedly turned down new "multi-million dollar deals" in March. Gallows & Anderson were reportedly upset with how they were being used in WWE, which led to them turning down new deals earlier this year and setting them up to become free agents in fall. Aside from an early run with AJ Styles as part of The Club, the duo had been lost in the shuffle or sitting on the sidelines since signing with WWE in 2016. However, they recently returned to television and reunited with Styles to re-form The Club

Styles signed a new deal with WWE in March, though terms of the deal were not disclosed. Last week, WWE locked up Mike & Maria Kanellis to new five-year deals after the duo reportedly requested their release earlier this year.
